Job summary

You'll work with the Materials Managers, cover other areas as needed, and contribute to 5S practices while upholding safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience.
• Must maintain a current GEA forklift license per EHS guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive work ethic, dependable, punctual.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Pass forklift tests including stand-up, stock chaser, tugger, sit-down.
• Interpersonal skills to lead in manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn and adapt assignments.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading shipments.
• Compare purchase orders with invoices, BOLs and packing lists for accuracy.
• Safely handle materials and finished goods.
• Organize and store items correctly.
• Pick and deliver material as production requires.
• Assist in processing returns for non-conforming parts.
• Perform regular cycle counts.
• Maintain 5S and cleanliness in warehouse.
• Notify supervisor of issues needing attention.
• Cover other material handler duties as needed.
