Job summary

GE Appliances in Camden, SC is seeking a Material Handler to join the Shipping Dept. You will move material, load/unload shipments, and support production needs with accurate handling and documentation.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to follow instructions, strong communication, and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required and safety PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required; able to obtain/maintain forklift license.
• Good communication, verbal and written; able to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments
• Assist in matching PO, invoices, BOLs and packing lists for accuracy
• Organize and store received items properly
• Put away received material in correct locations
• Accurate picking and delivery of material to production
• Perform regular cycle counts and contribute to warehouse audits
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S in warehouse areas
• Assist in safety and process improvements as needed
