Job Purpose

Performs physical or administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Responsibilities include unpacking, checking goods against purchase orders, maintaining records, lifting heavy items, and operating forklifts. Prepares goods for shipment, posts weights and charges, and maintains shipping records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute metals and purchased parts.
• Unpack and inspect goods, maintain records, reject unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items and operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Examine inventory and distribute materials accordingly.
• Assist with other material handling duties as needed.
• Follow all safety, quality, conduct, and attendance policies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules.
• 2-4 years of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Salary Range

$41,600 - $45,760 ($20.00 - $22.00/hour). Actual pay depends on experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is part of the total rewards package.
