Job summary

JLL in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Receiving/Mail Associate to manage mail, packages, and freight, maintain shipping areas, and support office supplies. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and safety.

You will monitor paper stocks, replace printer/copier toner, participate in asset recycling, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. This hands-on position offers daily autonomy within a collaborative team.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as operational needs require.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Accept, sort, and accurately record all incoming mail, packages, and freight deliveries to ensure timely distribution throughout the facility.
  • Organize and maintain shipping and receiving areas to optimize workflow efficiency and accessibility.
  • Monitor paper supplies across copy areas and proactively replenish to prevent disruptions.
  • Check printer and copier toner levels and replace cartridges as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Coordinate asset recycling programs by collecting old equipment, batteries, and materials for proper disposal.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, utilize personal protective equipment when required, and identify opportunities to minimize accident risks.
  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

What this job involves

As a Receiving/Mail Associate at JLL, you'll be the backbone of our mail and logistics operations, ensuring seamless flow of communications and materials across our facility. Your role centers on managing the complete lifecycle of incoming and outgoing deliveries-from standard mail to palletized freight with precision and accountability. You'll maintain organized shipping areas, coordinate recycling programs, and support our office supply infrastructure by monitoring paper stocks and printer/copier functionality. What your day-to-day will look like
