Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee daily operations of the Receiving Department in a climate-controlled production environment. You will guide a team, ensure accurate intake, and maintain inventory accuracy while coordinating with other departments to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior receiving/warehouse experience, and leadership ability. Responsibilities include safety, reporting, and international shipments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in receiving, or warehouse role.
• Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• The Receiving Lead oversees and coordinates daily operations of the Receiving Department.
• The role ensures accurate and timely processing of incoming shipments and maintains inventory accuracy.
• Leads a team to achieve departmental goals.
• Coordinates receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintains inventory through cycle counts and audits.
• Collaborates with other departments to resolve shipping/receiving issues.
• Implements and enforces safety procedures and protocols.
• Trains and develops team members to improve skills and performance.
• Prepares and maintains shipping/receiving reports and documentation.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manages international shipments as needed.
