Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking an experienced Receiving Lead to act as the subject matter expert for all inbound freight, oversee receiving operations, and ensure accurate, efficient processing so items are ready for stocking by the Logistics Team.

You will train and coach the receiving staff, plan daily activities, and coordinate with Logistics and Inventory Control to maintain accuracy. This on-site role requires flexibility and a focus on customer service and operational integrity.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
Proven leadership and coaching abilities in a fast-paced retail/logistics environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach the receiving team to accurately process inbound freight for stocking.
Act as main contact for inbound/outbound freight and maintain receiving area organization.
Plan daily activities, assign roles, and monitor performance of the receiving staff.
Assist in Return to Vendor/Return Processing and collaborate with Logistics and Yard teams.
Support inventory accuracy investigations with Inventory Control.
Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and company initiatives to customers.
