Job summary

Fleet Farm in Rochester, MN is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee all receiving operations and act as the subject matter expert for inbound freight. You will supervise and coach the receiving team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure accurate intake of goods from vendors and distribution centers.

You will also support returns processing, collaborate with Logistics and Inventory Control, and promote Fleet Farm initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• 2 years of retail, logistics, or warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build teammate relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full-time and part-time Team Members.
• Demonstrated ability to act decisively, implement solutions, multi-task, and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound freight accurately and efficiently to ensure availability for stocking.
• Serve as the main point of contact for inbound and outbound freight.
• Maintain organizational integrity of the receiving area.
• Train and coach the receiving team on processes and daily activities.
• Assist in Return to Vendor/Return Processing.
• Provide input to Logistics Manager to evaluate team performance.
• Assist Logistics and Yard Teams as needed.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control to investigate inventory discrepancies related to receipts.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty programs and company initiatives.
