Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Lead to oversee the efficient and accurate receipt of freight, coordinate unloading, and maintain documentation to keep stock flowing from truck to shelves.

You will lead the receiving team, inspect items for damage, manage inventory records, analyze negative stock daily, and work with purchasing and logistics to resolve issues while keeping the area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Detail-oriented and organized receiving lead.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving team to unload, sort, and process inbound freight safely.
• Inspect incoming merchandise for damage and proper labeling; coordinate with partners.
• Maintain inventory records and update the system regularly.
• Analyze daily negative inventory to identify causes and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to resolve receiving issues.
• Keep receiving area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Facilitate store-to-store and UPS transfers efficiently.
• Coordinate backhaul, pallet wrapping, and truck loading.
• File receiving paperwork and complete Daily Forklift Checklist.
