Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking a manufacturing operations team member in Colorado. The role involves safe operation around equipment, loading tankers, CIP, and packaging lines, with emphasis on safety, GMP/HACCP compliance, and quality control.

The position requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays, and potential overtime. Training and supervision of receivers are key parts of the job, with opportunities for professional development within a learning organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience or 4+ years with demonstrated leadership attributes preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all systems that correspond with the operation.
• Maintain daily sheets with audit and lab testing information; enter data into systems.
• Ensure documentation remains compliant with standards.
• Assist haulers to ensure timely deliveries; obtain ETAs.
• Oversee CIP washing; ensure proper chemicals, pressure, and processes.
• Train and supervise receivers; ensure rotation and training adherence.
• Provide feedback, training and coaching to receivers.
• Escalation point for receivers; attend required meetings.
• Backup to Production Supervisor; cover calls as needed.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
