Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is hiring for an Operations role in Fort Morgan, CO. The position involves safely operating and maintaining packaging and processing equipment, adhering to GMP/HACCP standards, and supporting leadership in daily plant operations and training.

The starting rate is $27.00 per hour and may increase over time. A sign-on bonus may be available, with 12-hour day or night shifts including weekends and holidays. Benefits include medical, dental and 401k options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience or 4+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership attributes preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all systems that correspond with the operation.
• Maintain daily sheets with audit information and lab testing information when necessary. Enter information into correct systems.
• Ensure all documentation is within required compliance.
• Assist with haulers to ensure timely deliveries to the plant (request ETA's).
• Oversee CIP washing and external washes to meet daily goals.
• Manage workflow of receivers and ensure rotation is followed for consistent training.
• Train new hires and report issues to Supervisor promptly.
• Provide feedback, coaching and escalation support for receivers.
• Attend required meetings and support Production Supervisor as needed.
