Job summary

You will lead Receiving Team Leaders and associates, ensure inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, and compliance with safety standards, while driving dock operations improvements. The role requires supervising experience, ERP/WMS proficiency, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in warehouse/manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of warehouse and inventory control processes.
• Proven ability to improve costs and profitability.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (prefer SAP) and WMS.
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on leader who earns trust and acts with integrity.
• Experience supporting production in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety and builds a strong safety culture within Receiving.
• Leads and develops Receiving Team Leaders and associates.
• Owns end-to-end dock operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, staging, and yard flow.
• Monitors performance metrics like dock-to-stock time and inventory accuracy.
• Plans staffing and scheduling for fluctuating inbound/outbound volumes.
• Ensures SAP/WMS transactions are accurate to maintain real-time inventory.
• Collaborates with Scheduling, Material Planning, Production, Quality, and Customer Service.
• Oversees vendor and carrier dock scheduling and performance.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity.
• Trains associates on material handling equipment and SOPs.
