Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Receiving Department Supervisor to oversee the receipt and disposition of merchandise, manage paperwork, and ensure accuracy against purchase orders while upholding club policies.

You will lead a team, drive safety and efficiency, utilize data to improve performance, and mentor Receivers to maintain GOLD standards and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience in big box receiving environment preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operations of the receiving department and match received inventory to POs.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and ensure pricing/signage is displayed.
• Verify inventory receipts and resolve discrepancies and damaged items.
• Supervise Receivers/Receiving Clerk and mentor team members.
• Coordinate with Logistics and manage delivery schedules.
