Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Foley, AL is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to oversee the club's receiving department, ensure accurate receipt and disposition of merchandise, and enforce policies. > The role includes supervising staff, processing paperwork, and verifying shipments against purchase orders to prevent shortages or overages.

You will lead through training, maintain safety, and coordinate with logistics to keep on-time deliveries and accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to operate forklift safely.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse or big-box setting preferred.
• Experience in receiving and inventory verification against POs.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.
• Minimum age of 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operations of the receiving department and verify receipts against purchase orders.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and ensure pricing and signage accuracy.
• Supervise Receivers/Receiving Clerk and mentor team members.
• Ensure safety procedures and club policies are followed in daily tasks.
• Coordinate with Logistics and manage delivery schedules.
