Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) Memphis is seeking a Receiving Supervisor to lead inbound material flow for a manufacturing facility producing architectural hardware. You will oversee receipt, inspection, put-away, and transactions in the JD Edwards system, ensuring inventory accuracy and safe, organized warehouse operations.

The role requires 3–5+ years in warehousing or materials management, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of ERP and Excel reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of warehouse, receiving, inventory control, or materials management in manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
• Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.
• Proficiency with Excel and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound material receipt and processing to support production.
• Verify shipments against POs, packing slips and system requirements; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts; ensure JDE transactions are correct.
• Oversee material identification, storage, and FIFO practices; ensure 5S standards.
• Lead a four-person receiving team; coach and develop staff; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage dock, yard, and outdoor storage areas; ensure safe operations and OSHA compliance.
