Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH in Memphis seeks a Receiving Supervisor to lead inbound material flow for a manufacturing facility producing architectural hardware. You will oversee receipt, inspection, put-away, and system transactions, ensuring inventory accuracy and safe, organized warehousing.

You will supervise a team of four, enforce JD Edwards (JDE) procedures, and collaborate with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and Production to maintain material visibility and integrity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of warehouse, receiving, or materials management experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
• Experience managing inventory accuracy and cycle count programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inbound receipt and processing of materials to support production.
• Inspect, verify, and put-away inbound raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure inventory transactions are accurate in JD Edwards (JDE).
• Manage forklift operations and coordinate dock activities.
• Maintain 5S and warehouse organization to improve flow and safety.
• Coach and develop four direct reports and partner with cross-functional teams.
