Job summary

Dometic is seeking a Receiving Clerk at our Sparta, TN facility. You will receive and inspect incoming raw materials, verify quantities, and ensure accurate distribution to the proper locations.

The role requires forklift operation, cycle counts, and close collaboration with purchasing and warehouse teams to maintain inventory integrity. The position offers a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with opportunities to handle urgent materials and support production needs.

Qualifications

• Solid warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
• Familiar with Bills of Lading, Packing Lists and Purchase Orders.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with critical thinking.
• Team player and able to work overtime on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Receive all raw materials.
• Unload and inspect incoming freight for damage.
• Report any discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensure material and part counts are correct and distributed to proper areas.
• Distribute all “hot” materials immediately to exact location.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Unload shipments from trucks and verify against orders.
• Assist with pulling parts for job orders daily.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Communicate with Purchasing on special instructions.
