Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking a Receiving & Inventory Specialist in Fort Worth, TX to ensure safe, accurate, and timely receipt and inventory control of shipments. You will perform stock checks, handle inquiries, and maintain organized records while supporting daily productivity goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong math and organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced steel distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong math and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Experience with tape measures and micrometers.
• Knowledge of structural steel products or previous steel distribution warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive all shipments from outside sources and company transfers.
• Field questions about orders from warehouse and sales.
• Perform stock checks.
• Address backorders promptly each morning.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated Receiving & Inventory Specialist to join our company. This position is responsible for execution of safety standards, achieving daily productivity goals while meeting quality requirements, performing routine maintenance and assisting with maintenance with non-routine maintenance.
