Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of various metal grades, thicknesses, sizes.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and label-making software.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unloads, and moves material within the plant, yard or work site.
• Loads and unloads material onto pallets, trays, racks, and shelves."
• Operates hand truck, forklift or hoist to move loads.
• Maintains part numbers and labels on all material racks to aid inventory tracking.
• Keeps work areas clean and free of obstructions and safety hazards.
• Uses computer for inventory and recording purposes.
