Job summary

EXCELLENCE IN PGM's is seeking a Receiving Storeman in the Finance & Admin department. The role requires accurately receiving and storing goods, checking against orders in SAP, and directing deliveries to proper locations using a forklift.

Ideal candidates will have Grade 12, warehousing experience, and knowledge of safety regulations. Proactive with good communication and problem‑solving skills, you will ensure records are updated and discrepancies resolved promptly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12.
• A certificate in warehousing or forklift license is advantageous.
• Relevant warehousing experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of warehouse best practices and storekeeping is required.
• Understanding of handling hazardous substances risk.
• Health and safety knowledge in workplace.
• Computer literacy - MS Office and IM Systems.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and basic problem solving skills.
• Must be client centric and customer oriented.
• Medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Check delivery notes against orders on SAP and print receiving documents.
• Direct deliveries to correct offloading points or bin locations and off-load goods with forklift.
• Ensure items are clearly marked with correct order numbers.
• Verify description, quality and quantity against delivery docs.
• Sign delivery notes and forward copies to drivers.
• Address discrepancies with both parties.
• Reverse receipt of goods for non-conforming deliveries.
• Forward original delivery notes to Accounts and file related documents.
• Process goods returns to suppliers and mark non-stock items for forwarding to plant.
