Job summary

Vertiv in the Great Lakes region is hiring a Receiving Clerk to accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming materials. The role supports cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working across departments to ensure smooth material flow. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with inventory systems are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience is preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and cycle counting is strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software) are required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
• Enter received goods into inventory systems accurately.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material flow.
