Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Receiving Clerk to accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming materials in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will enter items into inventory systems, label, store, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials flow smoothly. Responsibilities include cycle counting, investigating discrepancies, and assisting physical inventories.

The role requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and forklift experience is a plus. Full-time shift: 1st shift.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse/receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and cycle counting strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments, verify against POs and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Enter received goods into inventory systems accurately.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated locations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material flow.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies; maintain count records.
• Assist with physical inventory audits as required.
