Job summary

Vertiv (Great Lakes) is hiring a Receiving Clerk to accurately receive, inspect, and document incoming materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will support inventory accuracy through cycle counting and coordinate with internal teams for smooth material flow.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and experience with inventory systems; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and cycle counting strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, inventory software).

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
• Accurately enter received goods into inventory systems.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely material flow.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of counts and adjustments.
• Assist with physical inventory audits as required.
