Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a quality inspector/receiver to unload, inspect and handle incoming goods in our manufacturing setting. You will verify conformance to specs, document inspection results, and place inspected items into the ERP system.

You must read blueprints, use calipers and tape measures, and operate a tow motor. The role requires safety awareness, 5S discipline, and collaboration with quality personnel to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or equivalent required; basic reading/writing/arithmetic skills.
• Ability to read blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawings.
• Experience in receipt/inspection of purchased materials and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to implement or respond to change; safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Receipt and inspection of purchased products and materials.
• Delivers bought out products to the specified location.
• Enters inspected products into ERP system.
• Operates tow motor to move materials.
• Reports RMA and N/C to coordinator and supervisor.
• Identifies and facilitates quality improvement ideas.
• Maintains 5S and clean work area.
• Promotes teamwork and adherence to company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
