Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced Receiving/Warehouse Associate to manage unloading, inspection, and accurate documentation of incoming materials. You will utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners to record receipts and move inventory, while ensuring 5S standards and safety compliance at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, forms and instructions in English.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English.
• Ability to respond to questions in English.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Basic math skills including a basic math test.
• Ability to use a computer and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receives, unloads, and stages incoming materials.
• Performs inspection, documentation verification, damage assessment, and material accuracy checks.
• Uses WMS and handheld scanners to process receipts and update inventory.
• Ensures inventory accuracy and assists with month-end inventory processes.
• Maintains accurate records of materials received and shipped, including lot numbers and quantities.
• Transports and distributes materials to appropriate departments.
• Updates product location moves and receiving transactions.
• Verifies accuracy of shipments and accompanying documents.
• Dumps scrap hoppers and disposes of scrap materials properly.
• Replenishes materials for production areas as needed.
• Maintains 5S standards in receiving dock and surrounding areas.
• Operates forklifts safely per OSHA standards.
