Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Georgia is seeking a Receiving Inspector to perform visual inspections of purchased parts and materials, verify part and serial numbers, and document deviations. You will use SAP and Microsoft Outlook, interact with suppliers and internal quality engineers, and may need to obtain a PIV license.

This is a 2nd weekend shift: Fri–Sun 7:00 pm–7:30 am. The role emphasizes accurate inspection records, clear written and verbal communication, and coordination with cross-functional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency of inspection methods.
• Preference for vision and color perception compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of purchased parts and materials
• Verify part, serial numbers, part numbers, and deviations, check for obvious damage/defects
• Complete inspection records, logs, and rejection reports.
• Communicates in writing and verbally on concerns with supplier conformance.
• Unload parts from courier truck at loading dock, ability to obtain PIV license.
• Complete invoice and packing slips to ensure customer payment
• Obtain RX inspection stamp within 3 months in role
