Job summary

Pratt & Whitney seeks an RX Inspector to conduct visual inspections of received parts and materials and verify part and serial numbers against shipping documents. You will document findings, maintain inspection logs, and communicate any supplier conformance concerns to the team.

In this onsite role, you will use SAP and Microsoft Outlook to access program data and coordinate with quality engineers, customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of inspection methods and visual evaluation.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of purchased parts and materials.
• Verify part, serial numbers, part numbers, and deviations; check for obvious damage.
• Complete inspection records, logs, and rejection reports.
• Communicate in writing and verbally on supplier conformance concerns; unload parts from courier deliveries.
• Obtain RX inspection stamp within 3 months in role.
