Job summary

Pratt & Whitney North Berwick is seeking a quality inspector to join the Repair Operations team on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–1:00am, Monday–Thursday). You will inspect parts, tools, and gauges using approved data and drawings to determine dimensional conformance and decide if repairs are needed.

You will work with fixed and variable measuring devices, perform calculations for nonconformances, maintain inspection stamp, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Inspection experience (non-aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Basic shop math is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts using inspection data and drawings.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Determine extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Follow procedures to ensure work instructions are followed and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain inspection stamp and support continuous improvement objectives.
• Manage multiple priorities and be flexible for overtime and training.
