Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center is seeking an Engine Inspector to join the team on 2nd shift (Mon–Thu 3:30 pm–2:00 am). You'll inspect engine components, ensure compliance with data, and support overhaul and assembly processes with precise documentation.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years in a related role. Preferred: A&P license and experience with SAP, Lean Six Sigma, MS Office. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years' relevant experience.
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate (preferred).
• Experience in engine overhaul, inspection or repair (preferred).
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or RTX CORE Operating System (preferred).
• Experience using SAP and MS Office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Use precision tools to inspect engine components and validate proper configuration.
• Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine assembly and maintenance.
• Meet production and inspection goals for the facility.
• Complete and review technical documentation, including EIRs and SAP records.
• Review engine package documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support a team-based environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
