Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Backup Receiver to manage receiving duties, check shipments, and operate equipment such as baler, compactor and forklift. You will help keep the receiving area organized and safe while supporting store operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, moving pallets with a jack, and strong teamwork and communication with store leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; able to pass trainings and safety certifications.
• Dependable with flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Report discrepancies to Managers/Buyers; verify accuracy against records.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs and moving pallets up to 1000 lbs with equipment.
• Operate receiving equipment safely; follow Weights and Measures, sanitation, and procedures.
• Strong communication with team and store leadership; perform duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle all receiving functions and paperwork for incoming goods.
• Operate machinery (baler, compactor, forklift) safely and efficiently.
• Maximize sales potential through proper receiving procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the receiving area and workflow.
• Collaborate with vendors and store leadership; adapt to a fast-paced environment.
