Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Backup Receiver to manage receiving functions, operate baler/compactor/forklift safely, and keep the receiving area clean. This role supports accurate invoicing and goods flow into the store.

The position requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate a pallet jack for long distances. Training and certifications may be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Report receiving discrepancies to managers and buyers to rectify issues.
• Attends trainings and can use or be certified to operate required equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate pallet jack for up to 150 ft.
• Good math skills and basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving functions and paperwork accurately.
• Operate machinery (baler, compactor, forklift) safely.
