Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Avon, IN is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm). Pay is $19.00 per hour with on-demand pay, full-time schedule, and benefits eligibility. Overtime may be required, including Saturdays.

Location: 8598 E. County Road 100 S., Avon, IN 46123. You will operate reach trucks and related equipment, move and stage inventory, load/unload materials, and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Read and follow RF scanner instructions and WMS transactions.
• Excellent communication with drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck, order picker, turret truck, and/or pallet jack.
• Move, store, and retrieve inventory.
• Load, unload, and stage material.
• Follow safety guidelines; safety shoes required.
