Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring for a Full-Time Hourly Receiving role. The Receiving Team unloads truckload shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts and reports to the Facilities Team Lead, ensuring safety and efficiency at the loading dock.

Qualified applicants must pass pre-employment drug tests, be forklift certified or trainable, and be able to work on-site with 8-hour shifts. Lifting requirements include 25 lb solo and 50 lb with help.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
• Forklift certified (or in-house training) required.
• On-site availability; 8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch.
• Able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Follow written directions and company policies.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Receiving Team employs heavy equipment to unload trucks safely and quickly. This position reports to the Facilities Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retentionfees
• Use pallet jacks and fork trucks to unload product
• Safely drive a forklift according to policy and the Safety Coordinator
• Perform other tasks as assigned bymanagement

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests duringemployment
• Must be forklift certified (or successfully pass in-house training/certification)
• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to follow written directions and companypolicies
