Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a dependable Receiving Team member to unload truckloads at the dock using pallet jacks and forks. The role demands safe forklift operation and adherence to established policies, with attention to avoiding retention fees by timely unloading.

Hours are eight-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch, and schedules may vary Monday through Saturday depending on location. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with team support and stand for long periods.

• Must be forklift certified or pass in-house training.
• On-site work required; schedules vary by location.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with team, 25 lbs alone.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Follow written directions and company policies.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Receiving Team employs heavy equipment to unload trucks safely and quickly. This position reports to the Facilities Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retentionfees
• Use pallet jacks and fork trucks to unload product
• Safely drive a forklift according to policy and the Safety Coordinator
• Perform other tasks as assigned bymanagement

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug tests duringemployment
• Must be forklift certified (or successfully pass in-house training/certification)
• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and GM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and companypolicies
