Job summary

Albany Med Health System is seeking a Receiving Clerk in the Receiving And Distribution department. This full-time role operates during the Day shift and involves standing for most of the shift while handling orders and using scanning equipment.

The position requires a HS diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years in a related service/warehouse environment, and the ability to lift 15–50 pounds with or without accommodation. Weekend/holiday availability is expected.

Work Shift: Day (United States of America)

Salary Range: $41,923.00 - $54,500.00

Receiving Clerks are responsible for a variety of warehouse duties. Please note that you will be on your feet for 90% - 95% of your shift.

Hourly Rate $18-$23

• Pick appropriate product according to order using required technology
• Safely operate a riding pallet jack after we provide you training
• Shrink wrap carts/pallets
• General housekeeping tasks as required (e.g. you may be asked to sweep the floor, help clean/organize picking bin locations, dispose of cardboard, etc.)
• Lift objects that weigh anywhere between 15 pounds and 50 pounds (with or without a reasonable accommodation)
• You are 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalence
• 1-3 years’ experience in a service position involving supply chain, warehouse, and/or shipping and receiving
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Basic level competency with handheld scanners
• Be able to work on weekends, holidays
• You can lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
• You are able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
