Job summary

Hydro Extrusions USA, LLC in Yankton, SD is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Stores department. You will support daily warehouse operations, load outgoing shipments, assist with inventory and cycle counts, and help maintain 5S in the warehouse.

The role requires at least 18 years old, ability to read measurements, and willingness to work 8- to 12-hour rotating shifts, with overtime, weekends, and holidays. Forklift certification preferred; high school diploma or GED appreciated.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure showing feet & inches.
• Ability to work 8, 10, 12 hour rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, sponsor, and support continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.
• Complete all related safety training.
• Ensure safety of self and coworkers.
• Interact with carriers.
• Load outgoing LTL shipments.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Maintain cycle counts.

Starting Rate of pay: $18.75 - $24 depends on experience

Shift Available and Hours: 3pm -11pm (Monday -Friday)

What you will be doing

• Implement, sponsor, and support all continuous reliability improvement standards and practices.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Ability o read and use a tape measure that shows measuremets in feet and inches.
• Ability to work 8, 10, 12 hour rotating shifts depending on shift availability, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures.
• Previous manufacturing experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply).
• Ability to perform basic computer application skills.
• Ability to communicate (both written & verbal) and work well with all employees at all levels, willing to learn new process and work with limited supervision.

Preferred Skills/Qialifications:

• Must be able to be forklift certified, CDL preferred but not required.
• Employee must have good vision or corrective lens to see visual defects.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
