Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Lenox, Iowa is seeking a Receiving Clerk to coordinate movement of ingredients and packaging within the Lenox warehouse, unload and receive shipments, store materials, and rotate stock to support safe, efficient operations.

You will perform SAP transactions, apply FIFO practices, operate PIT equipment with certification, follow GMP and safety rules, and maintain a clean dock while supporting a culture focused on food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Basic math skills and ability to perform simple calculations.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply common sense in daily tasks.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of ingredients and packaging materials within the Lenox warehouse.
• Unload and receive shipments, accurately store materials, and ensure stock rotation.
• Perform daily SAP transactions to maintain inventory.
• Apply FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles in stock management.
• Safely operate PIT equipment with internal certification.
• Follow warehouse procedures and GMP for safety and quality.
• Communicate clearly with Michael Foods employees, drivers and vendors.
• Maintain a clean, organized dock and warehouse area with proper PPE.
• Support safety goals and report any food safety or quality concerns promptly.
