Job summary

JOST International Corp. is hiring a Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator to join our Michigan warehouse.

This hybrid role allocates 50% time to office tasks in SAP and 50% to forklift operations handling inbound and outbound shipments. Responsibilities include verifying labeling per packing slips, processing inbound loads in SAP/DSSI, performing quality checks on outgoing parts, and communicating with quality, buyers, assembly and management.

Qualifications

2+ years shipping and receiving experience.
Ability to lead others and set a good work standard.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Previous inspection experience.
Basic math skills.
Able to read and write legibly.
Understanding of basic processes.
Certified forklift driver.
Ability to follow work instructions.
SAP experience is a plus.
Fast-paced, safe and efficient work style.
Ability to train others on receiving functions and SAP.

Responsibilities

General warehouse duties including shipping/receiving shipments.
Process inbound loads using SAP/DSSI and scanner.
Process subcontracting loads.
Inspect outgoing parts for quality, labeling and packaging per packing slip.
Sign off outgoing parts and inspect incoming parts from vendors.
Willing to work a flexible hours schedule and stay late as needed.
Perform inventory counts as needed.
Work in SAP, fix and reverse discrepant inbounds, receive parcel shipments in DSSI.
Load/unload shuttles with transfer parts and subcontracting loads.
Email communication between quality, buyers, assembly and management.
Interact with other departments daily and participate in production meetings.
Operate forklifts safely and in compliance with policies.
Train other employees in Receiving Department.
