Job summary

Europastry USA is seeking a reliable Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations in Town of Islip, NY. You will unload, receive, store, and stage raw materials, and ensure accurate documentation in the ERP system.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years forklift experience, 1–2 years shipping/receiving, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in a GMP/SQF environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of forklift experience (sit-down required).
• 1–2 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and system use.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to unload, move, store, and stage raw materials.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation.
• Complete receiving paperwork and process transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform inventory transactions, adjustments, and daily cycle counts.
• Restock materials to support production needs.
• Inspect equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, GMP standards, and food safety regulations (SQF).
• Participate in team meetings and support additional tasks as needed.
