Job summary

Fedtech, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to accurately receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments of raw materials, components, and supplies. You will verify quantities, document discrepancies, and ensure items are stored properly to support production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control (manufacturing experience preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry experience
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Compare packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure correct quantities and items.
• Document and report any discrepancies, shortages, or damages to appropriate departments.
• Enter receiving information into ERP or inventory management systems accurately and promptly.
• Label and stage received materials in designated warehouses or production areas.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to unload and move goods.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, inventory control, and production teams to ensure material flow.
