Job summary

Spitzer, a leading designer and fabricator of high-specification equipment, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team in Houston, TX. This full-time, hourly, nonexempt role focuses on processing receiving documentation, verifying material, and updating the Receiving Log daily.

You will coordinate with Purchasing, Shop and Accounting, help resolve discrepancies, and support inventory accuracy while adhering to safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good communications skills.
• Knowledge of engineering, oil field, and commercial terminology is desirable.
• Familiar with MS Office and SAGE 100 (MAS).

Responsibilities

• Process all receiving documentation on incoming shipments daily.
• Ensure accurate documentation of received materials.
• Record materials into SAGE 100 (MAS) daily.
• Notify Purchasing/Project Manager of discrepancies in quantities or descriptions.
• Maintain and update the Receiving Log and daily Receiving Schedule.
