North Coast Container is currently looking for a Receiving Clerk at our Chicago, Illinois location. The ideal candidate applies best-in-class purchasing practices to direct and indirect materials/services and has the knowledge to ensure products meet quality, delivery, and specification requirements at the best value. Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and maintain receiving documents such as BOLs and PLs.
• Enter material receipts into an ERP system.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to organize and receive parts.
• Notify the purchasing manager of any inventory discrepancies.
• Participate in and record cycle inventory counts.
• Assist with month-end inventories of raw materials, make adjustments, and prepare final reports.
• Inspect, stock, and organize incoming raw materials.
• Locate, sort, and move raw materials to required locations in the production areas.
• Create labels and prepare outbound parcels for special customer requests.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual abilities.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Experience with Epicor software.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience in the chemical or packaging industry.
• Forklift certification.
