Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is hiring a material handler to support inbound/outbound logistics in a manufacturing setting. You will receive, count, and move parts, operate material handling equipment, and help maintain accurate inventory records while following safety guidelines.

The role requires HS diploma, basic math, and good English communication. Forklift certification is preferred. This is an on-site position with an hourly pay range of $20.00–$23.00.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming material from supplier and verify against purchase orders.
• Load and unload supplier and inter-plant trucks.
• Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound material and maintain shipment records.
• Manage picking and receiving of parts for honing and production schedules.
• Utilize counting scales and RF scanners to count and adjust material.
• Assist with safety and 7S duties and collaborate with quality and shipping teams.

Job Description

• Receive incoming material from supplier against Purchase Orders
• Load and Unload Supplier and Inter-Plant trucks
• Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound material
• Maintain accurate shipment records for accounting, purchasing and warranty
• Manage the picking and receiving of parts for Honing
• Utilize Counting Scales for accurate counting of material
• Adjust material quantities to assure accurate inventory
• Work with Quality to assure inspection process is seamless
• Pull, Pick and ship material for Purchase Orders per purchasing production schedule for secondary processes
• Utilize RF Scanners and Fourthshift to receive material and make adjustments
• Fulfill Prototype order requests
• Assure that material is properly located in appropriate stockrooms
• Manage the movement of parts from receiving and secondary process lines to stock
• Develop understanding of 7s duties to be assigned
• Maintain and adhere to safety levels consistent with HydraForce and Government policies
• Assist other material handling areas such as stockroom and shipping as needed.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials while providing continuous improvement ideas
• Perform 7s Duties as delegated
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

• HS diploma or Equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Attention to detail

• Coordinate workflow with other team members
• Ability to count parts using a counting scale
• Ability to operate material handling machinery such as pallet jacks, stackers and aerial lifts
• Forklift certification preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Walk and stand for long periods of timePush carts with heavy loads

Work Environment

Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes

Additional Information

The hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $23.00/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
