Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, seeks an Inspector to evaluate components for compliance with specifications and to document inspection results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of mechanical inspection experience, proficiency with measurement tools, and the ability to read blueprints. Willingness to work in a warehouse setting with lifting up to 20 pounds is needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow inspection processes and plans.
• Previous experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges preferred.
• Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Some experience with technical specifications and blueprints.
• The ability to see details at close range.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process.
• Clear communication.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Inspects and evaluates components to determine if they are compliant to all HydraForce specifications.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect components to determine if they are compliant to specifications
• Document inspection results as required
• Submit Non-Conformance reports for goods failing inspection

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds
• Working with small parts
• Repetitive hand/arm use

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Some of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, and noise level can be moderate to high

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
