Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is seeking a component inspector in Vernon Hills, IL. You will inspect and evaluate parts to ensure compliance with HydraForce specifications and document results.

Responsibilities include submitting non-conformance reports, notifying production teams of issues, recording inspection data, and following safety and housekeeping rules. The role is on-site with pay range $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience, and requires 1–3 years of mechanical inspection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years mechanical inspection experience.
• Ability to follow inspection processes and plans.
• Experience with quality control equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) preferred.
• Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read technical specifications and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Job Description

Inspects and evaluates components to determine if they are compliant to all HydraForce specifications.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Lift and move a minimum of 20 pounds
• Working with small parts
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Some of the work time is spent in a warehouse environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience

• A high school graduate or GED
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in mechanical inspection and manufacturing environment
• Ability to follow inspection processes and plans
• Previous experience with quality control equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges preferred
• Proficient with MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Some experience with technical specifications and blueprints
• The ability to see details at close range
• Work independently with little supervision
• Exhibit ethical independence and judgment of the parts and process

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience.
