Job summary

HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is seeking a Material Handler to receive, count, and move material in a manufacturing environment. You will load/unload trucks, verify inbound/outbound accuracy, and maintain inventory records as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with quality, using RF scanners, and supporting various stockrooms while following safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Coordinate workflow with other team members.
  • Ability to count parts using a counting scale.
  • Ability to operate material handling machinery such as pallet jacks, stackers and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming material from supplier against purchase orders.
  • Load and unload supplier and inter-plant trucks.
  • Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound material.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records for accounting, purchasing and warranty.
  • Manage the picking and receiving of parts for honing.
  • Utilize counting scales for accurate counting of material.
  • Adjust material quantities to assure accurate inventory.
  • Work with Quality to ensure inspection process is seamless.
  • Pull, pack and ship material per purchasing production schedule for secondary processes.
  • Use RF scanners and Fourthshift to receive material and adjust records.
  • Fulfill prototype order requests.
  • Ensure material is properly located in stockrooms.
  • Move parts from receiving and secondary process lines to stock.
  • Learn 7S duties to be assigned.
  • Maintain safety levels per HydraForce and government policies.
  • Assist other material handling areas as needed.
  • Measure, weigh, and count products and materials while providing continuous improvement ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Receive incoming material from supplier against Purchase Orders

Load and Unload Supplier and Inter-Plant trucks

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

HS diploma or Equivalent

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Basic Math Skills

Coordinate workflow with other team members

Ability to count parts using a counting scale

Ability to operate material handling machinery such as pallet jacks, stackers and aerial lifts

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively

Walk and stand for long periods of time

Push carts with heavy loads

Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes

Additional Information

The hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $23.00/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
