Job summary

Floor & Decor in Virginia Beach is seeking a Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations, unload, audit, and stage product to recover store inventory. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.

The role requires 1-2 years of warehouse experience (preferred), forklift certification, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying weather and fast-paced environments, with extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Effective communication (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company's core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate understanding and compliance with safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training (must be forklift certified).
