  • Complete receiving transactions accurately and timely within the company's ERP/MRP system.
  • Apply required labels, identification, project information, or inventory markings to received material.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, discrepancies, returns, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy activities, cycle counts, material location verification, and reconciliation as needed.
  • Follow established material control and traceability requirements.
3. Material Handling & Staging
  • Safely move, organize, and stage materials using appropriate material‑handling equipment.
  • Route material to designated warehouse locations, Quality inspection areas, production staging areas, or project‑specific locations.

  • Support the documentation and segregation of damaged, nonconforming, or questionable material.
  • Assist with supplier returns, replacement shipments, and material discrepancy resolution as directed.
  • Escalate recurring or significant receiving issues to the appropriate team members.
5. Cross‑Functional & Operational Support
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Engineering, and Inventory/Warehouse personnel.
  • Communicate material availability, receiving delays, and discrepancies that may affect production schedules or customer commitments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to receiving, material flow, inventory accuracy, safety, and workplace organization.
  • Follow company safety procedures and required material‑handling practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, shipping, material handling, or manufacturing experience preferred.
