Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Jessup, PA, is seeking a Receiving Lead for our 1225 Mid Valley Dr location. This part-time role (up to 28 hours/week) will oversee day-to-day Receiving operations, verify arriving inventory, and prepare products for transfer to the next stage.

You will train staff, enforce safety and sustainability practices, and ensure accurate handling of goods. The position requires a proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in warehouse/distribution or with Fastenal.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Lift, slide, carry 25–50 lbs and up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra time.

PA100 Distribution Center

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 10:00am - 4:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Receiving Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Receiving department. When inventory arrives at the HUB location, you will verify the product and quantity delivered. Then you will prepare the product to move to the next department, product handling. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leading and training team members

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess prior work experience at Fastenal OR in warehouse/distribution
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Lead and motivate a team of employees
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed

• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience operating a forklift
• Prior receiving experience
