Williams Lumber and Home Centers in High Falls, NY seeks a receiving/inventory specialist to ensure inbound goods accuracy and perform weekly cycle counts. You will manage receipts, paperwork, and proper placement of items.
Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, ability to read and write simple communications, basic math, and good attention to detail. The role involves lifting up to 100 pounds and standing/walking throughout shifts.
Summary: Insures the accuracy on all inbound goods and performs weekly cycle counts there after to assure proper inventory levels.
As with all other jobs, other duties may be assigned. Management reserves the right to reassign an individual in this position to another position in the interest of efficient personnel utilization.

Education and / or Experience
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma; or twelve months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and / or other associates of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
