Job summary

RTX's Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture Department in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Software Engineer to design, architect, and implement signal processing algorithms on CPUs, FPGAs and GPUs for next‑gen radar systems.

You will code C++ embedded real‑time software, perform integration and testing, support code reviews and CI, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to meet end‑user requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• C++ software development experience.
• Experience using Linux.

This is your opportunity to join the Receiver Exciter and Processing Architecture Department as a Software Engineer. The team’s primary goal is to design, architect, and implement signal processing algorithms on a variety of high-performance processing platforms – including CPUs, FPGAs and GPUs, on COTS and semi-custom hardware platforms, for next generation radar systems.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major.
• C++ software development experience
• Experience using Linus

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with developer tools (Git, CMake, GoogleTest, gdb, profilers, Jira, Jenkins, UML)
• Embedded software development experience.
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)
• Experience with scripting (Python, shell, bash)

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
